Any Joomla! user face "Register_Globals : On" problem when installing Joomla! in the web server? Here a simple guideline to set the Register_Globals to Off status. Open your .httaccess from your Joomla! installation directory.

Place this code into your .httaccess file and save it.

php_flag register_globals off
It will solve the Register_Globals:On problem.
